Hunger is a reality every day for more than 83,000 people in DuPage County, and at the Bensenville Wood Dale Food Pantry we are committed to providing nutritious food to our neighbors in need.
With the assistance of various establishments and volunteers, we strive to assist individuals, seniors and children with the ability to live an active healthy life.
The Bensenville Wood Dale Food Pantry has been providing food assistance to residents of Bensenville, Elmhurst, and Wood Dale since 1977. We serve 250-300 households monthly which include over 1,000 individuals.
- Each Family may use the pantry twice a month.
- The pantry operates with 100 percent volunteers.
- Approximately 30 volunteers are needed each distribution day.
- The pantry actively seeks grants and funding to continue to serve the community; recently became a 501(c)(3).
